08:06 | Train to Lauterbrunnen
Took the early morning to Lauterbrunnen, with a change in Interlaken. It was mostly foggy with a couple short sun breaks. It was also surprising to see the number of passengers with skis and sleds.
Unfortunately it was still quite foggy in the Lauterbrunnen valley.
On a clear day with plenty of snowmelt you would see the famous waterfall here. There were a number of ice chunks falling down though.
Took the Lauterbrunnen Seilbahn aerial tram to Grütschalp and found some sun. From there we took a train through Winteregg to the alpine village of Mürren.
Arrived in this pedestrian alpine village, known for being featured in the 1969 James Bond movie, ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’
The brand new aerial tram that opened earlier in the week. We didn’t take it though.
Took another aerial tram slightly downhill to this small mountain village.

Had dinner at a beer hall featuring local breweries.
The Celebration burger, featuring Brie and cranberries.
The covered bridge features a number of paintings.
