Took the morning train to Sargans. From there we took a bus to Vaduz, the capital of Lichtenstein.
Several inches of snow had built up at the bus stop.
On the bus, crossing the Rhine River into Lichtenstein.
The first town across the river, Balzers, is known for its prominent hilltop castle.
Vaduz also has a prominent castle, though this one is inhabited by the royal family.
The main pedestrian street in Vaduz has 20+ sculptures.

Grabbed some coffee to warm up. This one also came with a complementary treat.
Retraced our steps to get back to Zurich.

Grabbed a late lunch at a busy German restaurant
Pork strips with rosti and cordon bleu with spaetzle.
Walked through the Niederdorf neighborhood

A Christmas market near the train station which took over the entire street.
17:30 | Singing Christmas tree
Stopped by for another performance. This time it was a much older choir.
Had dumplings and gluwein at another Christmas market.
