We were going to take the train to Rotterdam this morning. When we got there the previous train was still there and had been delayed 15 minutes. Ours was stacked up behind them.
Due to a “defective train” the line was blocked and all trains were cancelled. Trains that had left the station were stuck for 3+ hours and people couldn’t get off.
10:00 | Going to Amsterdam
We made the most of it by buying tickets to Amsterdam instead. The train to the city wasn’t running either so we took a serendipitous bus ride. At the end of the bus line we switched to the metro line. We made it a few stops before that ran into unknown issues. Then we switched to a tram and finally made it!
